流行樂壇的超級天后Mariah Carey，自1990年發行首張個人專輯至今七年，先前共發表過"Mariah Carey"、"Emotions"、"MTV Unplugged"、 "Music Box"、"Merry Christmas"及"Daydream"等6張專輯，張張在美銷售都突破數百萬張，其中尤以同名專輯的8百萬張銷售與"Music Box"、 "Daydream"的9百萬張銷售奇蹟最為傲人，如今，這6張專輯以創造了超過三千七百萬張的總銷售紀錄，而這還不包括從專輯中推出的單曲銷售呢！
