【 尖峰時刻 】新銳導演布萊特拉納，在去年為瑪莉亞凱莉導完最新的MTV【HERARBREAKER】（中譯：芳心終結者）後，在慶功宴裡，瑪莉亞向導演開玩笑地表示，唱片的領域她觸的差不多了，接下來她想演電影，想不到布萊特拉納真的認真考慮，可是他的下一部新【 尖峰時刻 2 】預計在今年暑假才開始拍攝，而且要不要讓她演出可能還需要成龍大哥點點頭，中間的聯絡過程太過複雜，而他手邊目前只有一些MTV 拍攝圍劃，不忍心拒絕天后的要求，這下可真是讓導演傷透了腦筋。

恰好這個時候，【 億萬未婚夫 】的導演蓋瑞西紐想向他詢問有關[ 尖峰時刻 ]的特技小組,預計在電影最後的壓軸部分加入克里斯歐唐那在幾輛電車中跳躍的鏡頭 ,布萊特拉納義不容辭的給了他電話，兩個人聊著聊九就聊到天后的願望，這個願望讓布萊特睡不著好幾天，蓋瑞西紐一口氣就答應幫他解決。

在拍完【 億萬未婚夫 】中最驚險的電車跳躍動作之後,這部電影本來應該殺青,可是克里斯歐唐納與製作小組全體移師前往拍攝瑪莉亞凱莉,事先可一點通知都沒有喔!只有她的經紀人知道,瑪莉亞凱莉受寵若驚,想不到自己真的要出現大螢幕了,天后一下子就高興的連說話都結巴了。

在【 億萬未婚夫 】中,市飾演歌劇院女高音,刻里斯的前任女友,有一段精彩的聲樂演出,表演聲樂決對難不倒她,可是一旦要與克里斯對手戲就糟糕了,短短的幾句十詞都能讓她緊張的不知將手放在哪裡,所以不停地出現NG，後來在布萊特拉納慢慢的引導下，瑪莉亞終於可以一點一點的進入狀況。

這一次的演出經驗讓她印象深刻，每每有人問她演電影的感覺時，她都會表示：「演電影實在太恐怖了，所有人都注視著你的一舉一動，跟唱歌不同，唱歌時你有一大堆的舞群樂團，唱著觀眾與自己都很熟悉的歌曲，只要跟著旋律大概就不容易出錯，即使忘詞也會有歌迷可以幫你提詞。」。

至於克里斯的感覺呢？身為第一個與天后合作的電影藝人，他直呼：下一次一定還要再和她合作一次！
